The backgrounds of symbols in PNG format are transparent. If the backgrounds appear black after pasting them into a program, the program is not able to read the transparency correctly.
- If the problem occurs when pasting via the clipboard, try pasting the symbols via drag-and-drop instead.
- Under Windows, some programs offer several paste options for files or images. If one option does not give correct results, try another one.
- Use the icons in JPG format with white backgrounds or another program.
It may also happen that PNG symbols are displayed correctly after pasting, but their transparent backgrounds are printed black. If the document is a PDF file, the problem may be solved by using a different PDF program for printing.
