If the symbol folder stored on your computer is moved to another location or deleted after being linked to MetaSearch, MetaSearch will no longer find the symbols. Symbols can no longer be displayed and an orange hint banner appears. Then the symbol folder must either be moved back to its original location, redeposited, or a new shortcut created.
The window for restoring the shortcut can be opened by clicking on the orange banner or via Menu > Change folder (described in the section Change Folder).
Now locate the METACOM_Symbole folder on your computer and drag it onto the MetaSearch window:
Important to know ...
During this operation, the symbol folder remains in its location. Moving it to the MetaSearch window only causes MetaSearch to now know the location of the folder and to be able to access it.
